Perluasan konflik lord`s resistance army vs uganda di republik demokratik kongo tahun 2008–2012

Abstract :

The failure of negotiations of Juba Peace Talks in 2008 between Uganda government and rebel groups of Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) leads to the mobilization of the entire group of Lord’s Resitance Army from Uganda to other countries. The deployment of LRA to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Southern Sudan, Central African Republic led to the escalation of conflict. After negotiations failed, military efforts conducted through Operation Lightning Thunder. This operation gets negative responds from LRA by attacking civilian population in Garamba National Park in DRC. Therefore  we need to know the development of the LRA conflicts in the DRC and Uganda’s involvement in DRC. In explaining the development of this conflict, the writer uses the assumption of Miall, Zartman and Ho WonJoeng related to conflicts and conflict resolution.
